How a fake is made

Round and round.

Used bottles picked from waste streams.

Steam removes labels without damage.

Untreated water from questionable sources.

Fake labels, generic caps.

Unregulated vendors and railway stations.

Then round again.

The Nectar breaks the loop: a cap that can't be resealed, and shows when it's been opened.

What's been tried

The hologram didn't stop it.

Railways added hologram seals four years ago. A sticker can be printed, peeled and reapplied. It shows the brand, not whether the bottle was opened.
